Why You'll Love This Recipe
- Quick and Easy No cooing, no baking. Seriously, this recipe is so easy, your kids can make it.
- Flavor is everything! This isn't just a chocolate peanut butter overnight oats recipe; this is a triple chocolate overnight oats recipe. Made with chocolate milk, cocoa powder, and mini chocolate chips. My daughter loves that they are "thick, sort of like a rice crispy treat."
- Meal Prep 3 days of breakfast ready in minutes. Just triple the recipe, then divide the mixture into three separate jars. Refrigerate and use within 3-4 days.
Ingredient Notes

- Oats Use old fashioned oats (rolled oats), not quick oats or steel cut oats. Oats are a great source of fiber and protein.
- Chocolate: We're talking chocolate milk, cocoa powder, and mini chocolate chips (a little goes a long way, trust me!). Milk is a great source of protein and calcium.
- Peanut Butter Any kind of peanut butter. I prefer to use all-natural peanut butter, the kind that's made with just peanuts and a little salt.
- Chia Seeds Helps add texture while also adding a boost of protein, fiber, and omega-3 fatty acids.
How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Overnight Oats

Just add all of the ingredients to a jar with an airtight lid and stir well, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. So simple!

Dietitian Tip
This recipe for chocolate peanut butter overnight oats has a nice balance of fiber, protein, and fat. It is very filling, so you might want to cut the portion in half for younger kids because their fiber and protein needs aren't as high as they are for adults.
