Meal planning for your family is one of the simplest ways to save time and money, while lessening stress. As a dietitian, I designed this one-month meal plan to reflect the way I approach feeding my family - approachable, flexible, simple, nutritious, and delicious!

Why it Might Help to Meal Plan for Your Family
Even as a Registered Dietitian, I never fully understood how a meal plan might help busy families until I started to follow a running plan... and had success. Sounds strange, right?
Even if you only meal plan for one month, I think you'll see more variety as well as new pattern and habits forming around mealtime. And this is the goal 🙂
September Meal Plan
Here you will find dinners planned out for the four weeks of September. Use the scrollbar on the right side of the meal plan to view all four weeks' worth of meals.
Helpful Tips
- This meal plan is a framework to go from. If a meal doesn't appeal to you, make something different.
- This meal plan for September takes into account seasonal produce, as we can still find corn on the cob, watermelon, and bell peppers at local farmers markets.
- Consider your weeknight schedule, when planning out your meals. I like to make extras on nights I have a little more time so we can have leftovers on the busiest nights.
Easy Dinners
- Zucchini Pesto (without Nuts)
