½teaspoonCinnamonI use Saigon cinnamon from Costco.
½teaspoonTajin
Instructions
Wash your watermelon under cold water and then use a sharp knife to cut it into chunks.
Either lay the watermelon chunks out on a plate in a single layer, put the chunks on toothpicks or wooden skewers, or put them in a bowl (if serving this more as a salad).
Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the watermelon chunks.
Sprinkle Tajin on top of the cinnamon that's on top of the watermelon chunks.
Serve and enjoy! If using a bowl and serving this as a salad, use a spoon to stir the seasonings in with the rest of the watermelon before serving.

Tajin is a salty Mexican seasoning blend, so there is no need to add more salt to it. And if you are looking to cut back on salt, Tajin does sell a reduced sodium version.
If you can't find Tajin, you can use a different chili lime seasoning. Trader Joe's even sells their own version.
If these flavors are new to you and your kids, sprinkle the seasonings on a few pieces of watermelon and taste it before adding it to all of your freshly cut watermelon. Afterall, there's nothing like making a lot of something that your whole family doesn't care for ;)
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and use within 2-3 days.
